A few months ago it was announced that Klaus and Caroline were to be reunited, but we didn’t get much information as to WHY this is happening. I mean obviously since Hope (Klaus’s daughter) is going to Caroline’s school that could be why. But is there more to the story?
The shows creator Julie Plec talked with TV Guide about the Klaus and Caroline relationship.
YAAASSS! This relationship was just so perfect! Well slightly at times.
“I think what people can expect and count on is a nice thread of Caroline as a guiding counselor to Klaus in terms of fatherhood,” she said. “She’s a mother, she lost her husband, and she knows [Klaus] very well — better than some of the people in New Orleans. She understands the desire he has to be a good person in the name of his daughter, and she’s very quick to recognize that he’s not doing a very good job. She’s a friend, she’s a support system, and she calls him on his sh*t.”
All extremely true. If there was one thing we loved most about Klaus and Caroline, it was that she never cared to call him out on things. You go girl!
But wait. . there’s more.
Plec also stated that,
“Of course there’s still that electricity between them. That’s always going to exist. No promises of where that goes, but it’s nice to see again.”
WHY? They were so cute together. How could this not end up happening?!?!
Wellllll my guess would be that not only does Caroline now have two twin daughters. But she is also running the Salvator school with Alaric, her daughters father. Yeah, I would see how this could cause some serious complications.
Thoughts?
